(Sports Network) – The Orlando Magic’s misery continued on Wednesday at the
TD Waterhouse Centre, as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 105-97
decision against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Tracy McGrady scored a game-high 31 points for the Magic, while Juwan Howard
added 14 points and Tyronn Lue scored 11 with 10 assists, as Orlando dropped
its second straight and fourth game in its last five overall.
McGrady, the NBA’s leading scorer at 27.7 points-per-game, reached at least
the 20-point mark for the 48th time this season. The 24-year-old All-Star has
been sensational in his last five games and has averaged 31.2 points in that
Prior to the game, Orlando activated center Andrew DeClercq from the injured
list. He underwent surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee February
10. DeClercq finished with four points and seven rebounds.
The Magic dropped their third straight and eighth game in their last 10 at
home and slipped to 8-22 in their gym this season.
Orlando will return to action on Friday when they host the Atlanta Hawks in a
battle of two of the worst teams in the NBA. The Magic have beaten the Hawks
twice already this season and could have the advantage on Friday, as the home
team in this series has won nine of the last 12 meetings.
Atlanta has also lost seven straight and nine of its last 10 in Orlando.
