Bryant leaves with injury

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe
Bryant left Friday’s 99-91 win over the Seattle SuperSonics with a jammed
right shoulder.

Bryant, who got hurt less than a minute into the game when he collided with
Seattle forward Reggie Evans, was taken to Centinela Hospital to undergo an

“We’re quite concerned,” Lakers head coach Phil Jackson said. “Hopefully we
will make it through this.”

He missed six games earlier in the season after suffering a sprained right
shoulder against Cleveland on January 12. Bryant collided with the Cavaliers
guard Kedrick Brown.

In 45 games this season coming into Friday, Bryant — who is charged with
sexual assault in Eagle, Colorado — is averaging 22.9 points and 5.2 assists
for the Lakers.
