(Sports Network) – Tony Parker netted a game-high 27 points to lead the San
Antonio Spurs over the Dallas Mavericks, 113-100, on Friday in a contest
featuring Midwest Division rivals at the SBC Center.

Hedo Turkoglu added 21 points for the Spurs, who have won 11 of their last 14
contests. The Spurs, who received 18 points and 10 boards from Malik Rose,
improved to 22-8 at home this season. Rasho Nesterovic pulled down 15 boards
for San Antonio, which improved to 3-1 without injured all-star Tim Duncan in
the last four games.

This was the fourth and final contest between the two clubs this season.
Dallas had won all three of the previous meetings.

Parker has averaged 22 points, six assists and 3.5 steals in his last two
games. He has played at least 30 minutes in 18 of his last 20 contests.

The Spurs visit the Phoenix Suns tonight. San Antonio is 2-0 against the Suns
this season, as it has won once at home and once on the road.
