(Sports Network) – LeBron James poured in a team-high 19 points to lead the
Cleveland Cavaliers to an 88-85 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on

Carlos Boozer added 18 points, including a pair of free throws with six
seconds remaining to seal the win, as the Cavaliers won their second straight
overall and sixth in the last eight. Eric Williams posted a double-double with
15 points and 11 rebounds, while Tony Battie netted 12.

The Cavaliers held an 81-77 advantage with 4:46 to play, but Jamal Mashburn
reeled off six straight points to put New Orleans up by two.

James ended New Orleans’ spurt with a three from the left wing at the other
end of the court to give Cleveland an 84-83 lead that it would never
relinquish. Williams drained a foul line jumper with 47 seconds left to put
the Cavs up three. Baron Davis couldn’t hit a three on the next possession,
but David West was there to putback the miss to bring the Hornets within 86-85
with 32 ticks left on the clock.

Boozer hit a pair of free throws inside 10 seconds remaining to secure just
the ninth road win in 32 tries for Cleveland this season.

Jeff McInnis recorded 12 assists in the win for Cleveland.

James has averaged 22.8 points in his last four contests. He has scored in
double digits in nine straight and 38 of his last 39 games.

Cleveland hosts the Milwaukee Bucks tonight. It is the second meeting of the
season between the two clubs. On January 30, Milwaukee beat the Cavaliers,
101-95, at the Bradley Center.
