Iverson sidelined with knee injury
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – Philadelphia 76ers All-Star guard Allen
Iverson will miss at least the next two games because of a knee injury.
Iverson underwent an MRI exam on Monday and the results were negative. He has
been diagnosed with right knee synovitis.
The three-time scoring champion will sit out Monday’s contest versus Milwaukee
and Tuesday’s game versus Chicago. He will then be a game-time decision for
the March 12 encounter with the Knicks.
In 45 games this season, Iverson is averaging 27.0 points, 6.8 assists and 3.8
rebounds per contest.
