(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers will try and get back on the
winning track tonight when they tangle with the defending champion San Antonio
Spurs at the SBC Center.

Los Angeles enters tonight’s tilt on a losing note after its 90-85 loss to the
Houston Rockets on Tuesday at the Toyota Center.

Corey Maggette poured in a game-high 26 points for the Clippers, who have
dropped five of their last six. Elton Brand contributed 16 points and nine
boards in the loss.

On the injury front, Quentin Richardson, who left Sunday’s game versus
Portland with a sprained back, did not play for the Clippers, while Marko
Jaric missed the contest with a toe injury. Both players are questionable for
tonight’s affair.

Los Angeles has dropped four straight and nine of its last 10 on the road and
is 8-23 away from home this season.

The Clippers have split their two meetings with the Spurs this season, but
have dropped three of four and six of the last eight matchups. LA has also
dropped 21 of the last 24 meetings in the series, including the last three and
12 of the last 13 in San Antonio.
