=== Minnesota Timberwolves Team Report – March 10 ===

(Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves try to stay on the winning
track tonight when they wrap up a two-game road trip against the Portland
Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.

On Tuesday, Latrell Sprewell scored 31 points to lead Minnesota to a 105-92
win over Seattle at Key Arena.

Kevin Garnett finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves,
who avoided their first three-game losing streak of the season. Sam Cassell
added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists in the win.

The win kept Minnesota 2 1/2 games back of the Sacramento Kings for the top
spot in the Western Conference. The T-Wolves also upped their lead to three
games over the San Antonio Spurs in the Midwest Division.

Minnesota, which will return home for two games following tonight’s tilt, has
won seven of 10 and nine of its last 13 on the road and is 21-10 away from
home this season.

Minnesota has split its two meetings with the Blazers this season and has won
four of the last five matchups. The T-Wolves have also won four of six and
five of their last eight in Portland.
