MVP Duncan to sit against Warriors
San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) – San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan is not
expected to play Friday against the Golden State Warriors as he continues
rehabilitation on his left knee. He is listed as day-to-day.
Duncan returned from the injured list to score nine points in 15 minutes
Wednesday in a 108-90 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The league’s reigning MVP missed six games with an irritation of the
patellofemoral joint just above his left knee. The Spurs were 4-2 without him.
Duncan is averaging 22.9 points and 12.8 rebounds over 55 games this season,
both team highs.
