(Sports Network) – Jason Kidd recorded another triple-double with 13 points,
13 assists and 10 rebounds, leading the New Jersey Nets to an 88-76 win over
the Chicago Bulls on Friday at Continental Airlines Arena.

The triple double was the 59th of Kidd’s career, tying him with former Celtic
great Larry Bird for fourth on the all-time list. Oscar Robinson, Magic
Johnson and Wilt Chamberlain top the list.

Richard Jefferson topped all scorers with 27 points, his fifth straight game
with 20 or more points for the Nets, who have won three of four. Kerry Kittles
added 16 points and Brian Scalabrine had 11 off the bench for New Jersey,
which blew a 20-point lead before rallying back in the fourth quarter to pull
out the win.

The triple-double was Kidd’s ninth of the season. This was Kidd’s second game
back from a knee injury that forced him to miss four games.

The Nets are off until Sunday when they visit the Miami Heat. New Jersey is
2-0 against the Heat this season, as both victories came at the
Meadowlands. The teams play again on April 14th at AmericanAirlines Arena.
