Przybilla to miss at least a month with knee injury
Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – The Atlanta Hawks announced on Saturday that
center Joel Przybilla will miss four to six weeks due to a knee injury.
An MRI showed swelling in his left knee and he is likely to be placed on the
injured list as early as Sunday.
The University of Minnesota product left Friday’s victory over Washington and
has averaged 4.0 points and 8.4 rebounds for the Hawks in 12 games since
coming over in a three-team trade from Milwaukee on February 15.
Przybilla was selected by the Houston Rockets in first round (ninth pick
overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft before his rights were traded from Houston to
Milwaukee for the rights to Jason Collier and a future first-round pick.
