(Sports Network) – The Houston Rockets fell to the Phoenix Suns, 99-79, in
overtime on Monday at the Toyota Center.

Yao Ming was solid for the Rockets with 29 points, 19 boards and six blocks.
Jim Jackson finished with 23 points, including a 7-for-8 clip from beyond the
arc, as the Rockets saw their five-game winning streak come to an end.

Steve Francis finished with 12 points for Houston, which outrebounded the
Suns, 55-48. The Rockets made 39 percent of their shots and committed 27
turnovers. Jim Jackson established a career high with seven three-pointers,
while Yao scored 15 points in the fourth quarter.

Yao has averaged 21.5 points and nine rebounds in his last 10 games. He has
scored in double digits in 17 straight contests.

The Rockets are in seventh place in the Western Conference playoff race, two
games behind the sixth-place Grizzlies.

Houston is off until Friday when it visits the Golden State Warriors. This
will be the third meeting of the season between the two squads, as the Rockets
have defeated the Warriors twice at the Toyota Center. The teams will play
again on April 6th in Oakland.
