Raptors activate Alvin Williams from injured list

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – The Toronto Raptors activated guard Alvin
Williams from the injured list in time for Wednesday’s 85-81 win over Utah.

Williams, who had missed the last 11 games with a knee injury, scored six
points in 27 minutes of action. He is currently the franchise’s all-time
leader in games played with 415.

Coming into the game, Williams was averaging 8.9 points and 4.1 assists per
contest.

He underwent surgery on February 27 to relieve inflammation from his right
knee. Williams was then shelved a day later.

Meanwhile, the Raptors placed Roger Mason Jr. on the injured list with a left
ankle sprain. Mason has averaged 4.3 points and 13.0 minutes in 19 games this
season. He is eligible to return on March 26 when Toronto travels to New
York.
