=== Sacramento Kings Team Report – March 18 ===

(Sports Network) – The Sacramento Kings lost to the Washington Wizards,
114-108, on Wednesday at the MCI Center.

Peja Stojakovic led the way with 25 points for the Kings, losers of back-to-
back contests and three of their last four. Mike Bibby and Doug Christie added
20 and 17 points, respectively.

The Wizards led by nine, 100-91, with less than five minutes to go, but
Sacramento tallied 12 of the next 17 points in a three-minute span to draw
within two.

Mitchell Butler and Etan Thomas answered with back-to-back buckets to give
Washington some more breathing room at 109-103 with a minute to play.

Sacramento could only trim the margin down by one point the rest of the way as
the Wizards made a few free throws to hold on for the win.

The Kings are off until Friday when they visit Jermaine O’Neal and the Indiana
Pacers. This is the second and final contest of the season between the two
teams. On December 7th, Sacramento defeated the Pacers, 91-88, at ARCO Arena.

Sacramento is in first place in the Pacific Division, four games ahead of the
Los Angeles Lakers.

Stojakovic has averaged 20.6 points in his last 10 games. He has scored in
double digits in 18 straight contests.
