Chicago inks Johnson for the rest of the year
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls signed rookie forward Linton
Johnson III to a contract for the rest of the season on Friday.
Per league rules, the Bulls, who signed Johnson to 10-day contracts on
February 28 and March 9, had to decide Friday whether to release Johnson
outright or ink him for the remainder of the campaign.
Johnson has started seven games for the Bulls in the 2003-04 season, appearing
in 26 contests. He has averaged 3.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
