(Sports Network) – The red hot Pistons continued their impressive play
Friday night, posting a 94-75 win over the Denver Nuggets at the Palace of
Auburn Hills.

Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace each scored 20 points to pace the Pistons
to the win. Mehmet Okur had 15 points and Ben Wallace scored 10 and grabbed
nine rebounds for the Pistons, who have won seven straight games. Rasheed
Wallace recorded his 10,000th career point in the fourth quarter.

Detroit shot 53 percent from the field (40-of-75), while the Nuggets made 33-
of-81 attempts (41 percent). Detroit held a 48-32 edge in points in the paint.

The Pistons have dominated the series with Denver, winning seven straight and
13 of the past 15. They have also claimed eight straight home encounters
against Denver.

Detroit has won four straight home games and 11 of its last 12 overall.

All the Pistons’ success has helped them put a bit of a dent in Indiana’s
Eastern Conference lead. Detroit now trails the Pacers by six games for the
top spot.

Detroit will aim to extend their streak Sunday afternoon, when they head to
Cleveland to battle LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
