(Sports Network) – The Dallas Mavericks play the second of a five-game road
trip tonight against the struggling Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.

The Mavericks trail the first-place Minnesota Timberwolves by 3 1/2 games in
the Midwest Division. Dallas sits in fifth place in the Western Conference
playoff race.

This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two squads.
Dallas defeated the 76ers, 125-122, in double overtime on January 14th at
American Airlines Center.

Dallas has won three straight and four of the last five meetings between the
two squads. The Mavericks have won three straight at Philadelphia.

The Mavs are 14-20 on the road this season. Dallas is 5-2 in Monday games.

Dirk Nowitzki scored a team-high 21 points, leading the Mavericks to a
thrilling 101-98 triumph over the New Jersey Nets on Sunday at Continental
Airlines Arena.

Steve Nash and Michael Finley each netted 15 points for Dallas, which improved
to 32-4 when holding its opponent to under 100 points. Nash contributed 16
assists and shot 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.

Antawn Jamison came off the bench to contribute 20 points in the win for
Dallas, which has won four of its last five games.
