(Sports Network) – The Clippers dropped a 102-80 decision to the Denver
Nuggets at the Pepsi Center Monday night.

Predrag Drobnjak finished with a season-high 24 points for the Clippers, who
have dropped four in a row and 12 of their last 14. No other Clipper tallied
double-digits in scoring.

Corey Maggette (sore left knee) and Chris Wilcox (Achilles) missed the game
for Los Angeles. The Clippers had a two-game winning streak in Denver come to
an end.

The Clippers’ Quentin Richardson returned from a one-game layoff due to
injury, scoring six points on 1-of-11 shooting in 29 minutes.

Elton Brand had only nine points and seven rebounds for Los Angeles, which has
dropped eight of nine road games.

Los Angeles was very sloppy with the ball in the loss, committing 22 turnovers
which led to 18 Denver points. The Clippers mustered just 35.6 percent from
the field, including 1-of-4 from three-point range. Los Angeles finished 27-
of-30 from the charity stripe in the contest.

The Clippers have a busy week with five games in seven days. Los Angeles’
tough string continues Wednesday against Portland at the Rose Garden. The
Clippers are just 9-27 on the road this season.
