Hornets’ Davis injured in victory over Detroit

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) – New Orleans Hornets star guard Baron Davis
sprained his left ankle in Tuesday’s 82-81 victory over Detroit.

Davis was injured in the closing seconds of the third quarter diving for a
loose ball. He is listed as day-to-day. Davis had 12 points, 10 rebounds and
was two assists shy of his first triple-double of the season before leaving
the contest.

Jamaal Magloire hit a 12-foot jumper as time expired in the fourth quarter to
give the Hornets an 82-81 victory Tuesday over the Pistons.
