(Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets welcome the Phoenix Suns to the
New Orleans Arena tonight. This is the second and final meeting of the season
between the two squads. On December 11th, the Hornets defeated the Suns,
111-101, at America West Arena.

The Hornets have won five straight over the Suns after losing the last two
meetings. Phoenix has lost two straight and seven of its last eight at the
Hornets.

The Hornets are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race, 1 1/2
games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks.

New Orleans comes into tonight’s game off a bad loss, as the Hornets fell to
the lowly Atlanta Hawks, 84-76, at Philips Arena.

David Wesley scored 12 of his 16 points in the first quarter for the Hornets,
who have dropped three of their last four. Jamaal Magloire ended with 12
points and 12 boards in the loss.

Hornets All-Star guard Baron Davis was with the team but did not dress for the
game due to a left ankle injury. He is also expected to miss tonight’s game.

New Orleans is 24-14 as the host this season.
