Orlando Magic Team Report – March 27

=== Orlando Magic Team Report – March 27 ===

(Sports Network) – The Orlando Magic’s nightmare season continued on Friday
with a 107-92 loss to the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Pacers at the TD
Waterhouse Centre.

Tyronn Lue netted a career-high 32 points for the Magic, who lost their
seventh straight game and fell for the ninth time in their last 10 tries.
Juwan Howard and Keith Bogans scored 24 and 14 points, respectively, in the
loss.

Orlando was without the services of Tracy McGrady, who missed the contest with
tendinitis in his left knee. He will be re-evaluated Saturday and is listed as
day-to-day.

Lue scored four consecutive points on a pair of free throws and a foul line
jumper to bring Orlando within six at 91-85 with 4:43 remaining in the game.

The Pacers, though, countered by going on an 11-4 run over the next 3:22,
keyed by five points from Ron Artest, to go up 100-87. Indiana led by as much
as 18 the rest of the way, while the Magic could not get closer than 11.

Orlando, which will continue its five-game homestand on Sunday against the
Dallas Mavericks, has dropped four of five and seven of their last nine at
home and is just 10-26 in its arena this season.

The Magic lost to the Mavs earlier in the season, but could have the advantage
on Sunday as the home team in this series has won 11 straight meetings.
Orlando has also won five straight and 12 of its last 13 at home against
Dallas.

Orlando has just two wins its six games played on Sunday this season.
