Cavaliers’ McInnis placed on injured list
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jeff McInnis was
placed on the injured list Saturday with a bruised right shoulder.
McInnis, who injured the shoulder in a March 16 contest against Chicago, had
missed three of his team’s last four games. He must sit out a minimum of five
games and won’t be able to return until at least April 6 against Toronto.
The 29-year-old McInnis is averaging 11.6 points and 6.0 assists in 65 games,
including 52 starts, this season.
The Cavaliers, fighting for a playoff spot, snapped a four-game losing streak
with a 107-104 comeback victory over the New Jersey Nets on Saturday.
