(Sports Network) – The struggling Clippers couldn’t derail the streaking
Golden State Warriors Sunday, falling 105-77 at the Staples Center.

Corey Maggette registered 21 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, who
suffered their eighth straight loss while becoming Golden State’s seventh
consecutive victim. Elton Brand chipped in 19 points in the losing effort.

Rookie Chris Kaman rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Clippers with
10 points. The youngster also grabbed nine rebounds in the losing effort.

Los Angeles hit just 41 percent from the field in the loss, while managing
only 59 percent (16-of-23) from the charity stripe. The Clippers were badly
outrebounded, 53-40, in the contest.

Before the game, the Clippers place guard Quentin Richardson on the injured
list with back spasms.

The Clippers have lost four straight and 10 of their last 11 on the road. Los
Angeles has lost 16 of its last 18 overall.

Los Angeles has the next two days off before heading to Motown to face the
Detroit Pistons. The Clippers close out their current three-game road trip in
Chicago on Friday.

The Clippers are just 9-29 on the road this season.
