(Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets fell to the Utah Jazz, 89-76, on
Wednesday at the Delta Center. Darrell Armstrong came off the bench to lead
the Hornets with 19 points.

All-Star center Jamaal Magloire recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10
boards in the loss for New Orleans, which has dropped four straight and 10 of
its last 14 contests.

New Orleans has also lost 10 straight on the road. The Hornets’ last win away
from home came on February 17 at Indiana. The Hornets are in a three way tie
for fourth-place in the Eastern Conference playoff race with Milwaukee and

Magloire has scored in double digits in eight straight games. He has averaged
16.3 points and 12.6 rebounds in that span. The Kentucky product has grabbed
at least 10 boards in 16 of his last 19 contests.

The Hornets are off until Saturday when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers.
It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the two squads.
