=== Philadelphia 76ers Team Report – April 4 ===

(Sports Network) – The Philadelphia 76ers playoff hopes got a bit dimmer
on Saturday, as they found themselves on the wrong end of an 86-75 decision
against the New York Knicks at the Wachovia Center.

Willie Green scored 14 points and Samuel Dalembert had 13 points, 14 rebounds
and a career-high nine blocks for the Sixers, who are on the brink of
elimination from playoff contention.

Philly is currently 10th in the Eastern Conference, 3 1/2 games back of the
Boston Celtics for the eighth and final postseason berth.

The Sixers fell for just the third time in their last 11 at home and dropped
to 21-18 in their arena this season.

Dalembert is averaging 15.5 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in his last six games.

Philadelphia returns to the court on Tuesday when they head south to face the
lowly Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.
