(Sports Network) – Atlanta’s season-long woes continued on Sunday with a
106-89 setback to the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena.

Stephen Jackson came off the bench to lead all scorers with 31 points as the
Hawks fell for the third time in four games. Chris Crawford poured in 22 in a
losing effort.

Jackson and point guard Jason Terry were pulled from the starting lineup after
the duo missed a shootaround earlier in the day.

Atlanta got within 10 with 3:26 left in the third after seven straight points,
five of which were scored by Jackson. The Nets then scored eight of the next
nine points to pull away early in the final frame with a 79-62 advantage and
led comfortably the rest of the way.

The Hawks have lost three of their last four and 11 of their last 15 on the
road and are 8-31 away from home this season.Atlanta has split its two
meetings with the Sixers this season.
