Timberwolves’ Hudson out for playoffs

Thursday that point guard Troy Hudson will undergo ankle surgery and miss the

Hudson, who has been on the injured list all this month, has averaged 7.5
points and 2.4 assists in just 29 games this season.

The Timberwolves secured the top spot in the Western Conference playoffs and
clinched their first ever Midwest Division crown with a 107-90 win in Memphis
on Wednesday night. Minnesota hosts Denver in Game 1 of their first-round
playoff matchup on Sunday.
