Szczerbiak returns for Game 5

Szczerbiak returned Friday for Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals
The 27-year-old played just six minutes and missed both of his field goal
attempts in the Timberwolves 86-74 win over the Kings to take a three-games-
to-two lead in the best-of-seven series.
Szczerbiak hasn’t played since he was injured in Game 2 of the first-round
playoff series against the Denver Nuggets when he broke three small bones in
his back. An MRI exam revealed three transverse process fractures of his
Game 6 is scheduled for Sunday in Sacramento.
