Pacers ink first round pick

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) – The Indiana Pacers Wednesday signed
center David Harrison, the club’s first round selection in last month’s NBA

Harrison, the 29th and final pick of the opening round, will receive a three-
year contract of up to $2.25 million along with a club option for 2007-08
under the league’s rookie salary scale.

Harrison entered the draft after his junior season at Colorado in which the
seven-footer averaged 17.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks for the 2003-04
campaign. He left as the Buffaloes’ career-leader with 225 blocks.
