Blazers agree to terms with Miles

Portland, OR (Sports Network) – The Portland Trail Blazers and forward Darius
Miles have agreed to terms on a contract. The team is expected to announce the
deal during a Wednesday morning press conference.

Miles, a restricted free agent, joined the Blazers last season in a January
trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Miles posted 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and
2.0 assists in 42 contests with Portland.

The 22-year-old Miles was originally selected by the Los Angeles Clippers with
the third overall pick of the 2000 NBA Draft. Miles, who never attended
college, starred at East St. Louis High School in Illinois.

Miles owns career averages of 9.8 points, 5.3 boards and 2.0 assists in 309
career games.
