Denver, CO (Sports Network) – The Denver Nuggets re-signed forward Rodney
White Tuesday and inked a deal with free agent guard/forward Greg Buckner.

White, 6’9″, 230 pounds, was recently jailed on gun charges in Washington
DC. He averaged 7.5 points and 2.3 rebounds last season, his second with the
Nuggets. He played in 16 games for Detroit in 2001-02, his rookie season.

Buckner, 6’4″, 210 pounds, has averaged 5.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1
assists in 257 career games with Dallas and Philadelphia since the 1999-00
season.

In addition, the team has signed NBA veterans Mitchell Butler, Desmond
Penigar, Mark Pope, Bryon Russell and Soumaila Samake and rookies Marcus
Hatten, Arthur Johnson, Billy Keys and Melvin Sanders.

The Nuggets begin training camp today at the Pepsi Center.
