Bulls part ways with Eddie Robinson
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls Monday reached an agreement
on a buyout for the remaining two years on the contract of swingman Eddie
Robinson. The club then requested waivers on the 6-foot-9 forward.
Robinson spent the last three seasons with the Bulls after signing as a free
agent with Chicago on August 7, 2001. During the 2003-04 campaign, he played
in 51 games and averaged 6.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.
For his career, which also includes a two-year stint with the Charlotte
Hornets, Robinson has averaged 7.0 points and 2.7 boards over 278 games.
