Bucks place Ford on injured list
Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) – Milwaukee placed point guard T.J. Ford on the
injured list Monday. He is recovering from neck injury.
Ford, a second year player, underwent cervical spine surgery in March after
bruising his spinal cord on February 24. He missed the final 24 games of the
regular season and the 2004 playoffs.
The eighth overall selection in the 2003 NBA Draft, Ford averaged 7.1 points,
3.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists over 55 games last season.
The Bucks, who open the season Wednesday at Orlando, also placed center Zendon
Hamilton on the injured list.
