=== Sacramento Kings Team Report – November 4 ===

(Sports Network) – Sacramento fell for the second time to start the season
on Wednesday when they dropped a 101-85 decision to the San Antonio Spurs at
the SBC Center.

Mike Bibby paced the Kings with 23 points. Chris Webber collected 18 points
and nine rebounds and Peja Stojakovic added 15 points for Sacramento.

San Antonio opened the fourth quarter with a 14-3 burst to grab a commanding
90-70 advantage. Brent Barry and Manu Ginobili each drained three-pointers to
highlight the run. Another three-point shot by Barry with 5:13 remaining
staked the Spurs to a 93-72 lead.

The Kings then scored the next 11 points to pull within 93-83 with three
minutes left, but Ginobili countered with a three-pointer on the next
possession to ignite an 8-0 run that put the game out of reach.

Doug Christie started for Sacramento and scored eight points in 20 minutes. He
missed the opener against the Mavericks with a foot injury.

The Kings conclude their season-opening three-game road trip on Saturday in a
battle of 0-2 teams against the Houston Rockets.
