Miami Heat Team Report – November 5

=== Miami Heat Team Report – November 5 ===

(Sports Network) – Shaquille O’Neal made his home debut, but once again it
was Dwyane Wade stealing the show with 28 points as the Miami Heat downed the
Cleveland Cavaliers, 92-86, in front of a record crowd at AmericanAirlines
Arena.

The paid attendance was 20,235, highest for a regular season game in Miami

A day after leading the Heat to a season-opening victory in New Jersey with 21
points, Wade put forth another strong effort behind 10-of-20 shooting. He also
dished out five assists to go with six rebounds. Miami has won 13 straight
home games in the regular season dating back to last year.

O’Neal, limited by a hamstring injury, netted 17 points with nine boards and
three blocks, but the coaching staff erred on the side of caution by playing
him just 32 minutes. Udonis Haslem added 15 points and eight rebounds in the
victory.

Miami was 29-12 at home last season.

The Heat will return to action on Saturday when they travel to our Nation’s
Capital to face the Washington Wizards.

Miami won all four matchups with the Wizards last season and has won five of
eight and seven of the last 10 overall meetings. The Heat have also won two
straight and nine of their last 12 in Washington.
