(Sports Network) – The Grizzlies visit the Dallas Mavericks tonight at
American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks are 2-0 on the young season. A win tonight would give Dallas its
best start since 2002-03 when it opened the campaign with 14 straight
victories.

The Grizzlies fell on Friday, as Tracy McGrady finished with 30 points and
nine assists to lead the Houston Rockets to an 89-81 win over Memphis at
FedExForum.

Pau Gasol scored 21 points and pulled down six rebounds for the Grizzlies, who
opened the season with consecutive losses and are still looking for their
first victory in their new arena. Bonzi Wells added 15 points.

In 2003-04, the teams splits four meetings. Both squad were victorious twice
on its homecourt.

Overall, Dallas has won two of the last three contests in this series. The
Mavs have won 13 of 15 and 16 of the last 19 meetings. The Grizzlies have lost
seven straight at Dallas.
