(Sports Network) – Primoz Brezec scored a team-high 20 points and Gerald
Wallace added 18 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Charlotte Bobcats to
their first win in franchise history with a 111-100 triumph over the Orlando
Magic on Saturday at Charlotte Coliseum

Emeka Okafor, the No.2 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, netted 12 points
and grabbed 14 boards. Jason Hart collected 14 points for the Bobcats, who
were victorious in their first home game. Hart also dished out 11 assists in
the win.

The Bobcats were denied their first win in their initial game of the franchise
on Thursday night, dropping a 103-96 decision to Washington. However, backed
by a raucous crowd, the Bobcats silenced the Magic with their defense and
forced 18 Orlando turnovers.

Okafor has averaged 15.5 points and 12 rebounds in his first three games of
the season, while Brezec leads the team in scoring at 17.5 points per game.

Charlotte is off until Wednesday when it visits the Milwaukee Bucks.
