Bo knows Phoenix: Suns sign Outlaw
Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – The Phoenix Suns signed forward Bo Outlaw to a
one-year contract and placed guard Yuta Tabuse on the injured list Monday.
Outlaw was with the Suns from 2001-03, averaging 4.7 points and 4.6 rebounds
in 153 games. Last season for the Grizzlies, Outlaw averaged 4.6 points, 4.2
rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.6 minutes.
The 11-year NBA veteran, who was waived by the Grizzlies on November 1, has
also played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies,
averaging 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.45 blocks and 1.7 assists in 800 career
Tabuse, the first Japan-born player to appear in an NBA game, is averaging 3.5
points and 1.5 assists in two game during his rookie season out of BYU-Hawaii.
