=== Denver Nuggets Team Report – November 9 ===

(Sports Network) – The Denver Nuggets host the Seattle SuperSonics tonight
at the Pepsi Center.

Denver lost its second straight game on Monday, as it dropped a 102-91
decision to the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. Carmelo Anthony, who
got in early foul trouble, posted a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds
for the Nuggets, who were swept in the home-and-home set by Utah and have
dropped three of four to start the season.

Anthony shot 5-for-14 and has connected on just 27 percent (22-for-81) this
season, including 1-of-10 from 3-point range. Kenyon Martin registered 14
points in the loss, while Bryon Russell added 13 for Denver, which is
averaging 86 points, third-fewest in the NBA..

Denver, which will wrap up a brief two-game homestand on Thursday against the
defending champion Detroit Pistons, is 1-1 at home this season.

Anthony has averaged 15.8 points and 8.3 rebounds in Denver’s first four games
of the season.

Seattle split its four meetings with the Nuggets last season and could be at
an advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won five of the last
eight. The Sonics have also won four of the last six matchups overall.
