=== New Orleans Hornets Team Report – November 10 ===

(Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets were defeated by the Los Angeles
Lakers, 106-98, on Tuesday on their homecourt.

Baron Davis paced the Hornets with 23 points, but was just 5-of-20 from the
floor. Jamaal Magloire contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds for New Orleans,
which remained winless on the season (0-4) under new head coach Byron Scott.

The Hornets are off to their worst start since beginning the 1989-90 campaign
at 0-5. It also marks the first time in franchise history that the Hornets
have started a campaign with three straight home losses.

After four games, Davis leads the Hornets in scoring (26.3 ppg) and assists
(8.3 apg). Magloire is New Orleans’ top rebounder at 8.8 boards per game.

New Orleans is off until Friday when they host the Atlanta Hawks. Last season,
the teams split four contests. This season, since the Hornets have been
relocated to the Western Conference they will play the Hawks just twice. The
teams will also play on April 5, 2005 at Philips Arena.
