=== Orlando Magic Team Report – November 11 ===

(Sports Network) – The Orlando Magic fell to the Washington Wizards, 106-96,
on Wednesday at MCI Center.

Grant Hill recorded a season-best 24 points for the Magic, who have dropped
two of three following a 2-0 start to the year. Steve Francis compiled 23
points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in defeat.

Orlando played without two starters who were injured in Tuesday’s 94-84 home
win over Dallas. Shooting guard Cuttino Mobley sat out with a strained right
groin and center Kelvin Cato has a sprained ankle.

After back-to-back baskets by rookie Jameer Nelson gave the Magic an 83-82
edge with just under eight minutes remaining, Washington embarked on a 9-2 run
to go ahead for good. Larry Hughes sank a jumper on the ensuing possession to
put the Wizards back on top and Brendan Haywood made a short hook shot with
5:09 to play which made it 86-83.

Hill, who missed the entire 2003-04 campaign due to ankle surgery, had his
best point total since a 27-point effort against Milwaukee on December 27,
2002. He has averaged 17.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and three assists in Orlando’s
first five games this season.

The Magic are off until Friday when they host Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles
Lakers. Last season, the Lakers swept the two contests between the clubs.
