Hornets’ Rogers sidelined with knee injury
New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) – New Orleans Hornets forward Rodney Rogers
is expected to miss the next four-to-six weeks with a sprained left knee.
Rogers suffered the injury during practice on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Rogers was signed by New Orleans as a free agent on August 3
after he spent the previous two campaigns with the New Jersey Nets. In four
games this season, he is averaging 4.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest.
Rogers has also enjoyed stints with Denver, the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix
and Boston. In 812 career NBA contests, he has averaged 11.1 points and 4.5
boards per outing.
