Houston Rockets Team Report – November 12

=== Houston Rockets Team Report – November 12 ===

(Sports Network) – The Houston Rockets fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves,
96-91, on Thursday at the Toyota Center.

Yao Ming posted a game-high 25 points for the Rockets, who played without star
guard Tracy McGrady. The two-time league scoring champion sat out with a pair
of injuries to his hip and groin. It is unclear when McGrady will return to
action and he is considered day-to-day.

Maurice Taylor scored 19 points for Houston, which had its three-game winning
streak halted. Jim Jackson added 13 points with seven assists, but his
defensive miscue at the end of the game proved costly.

Houston fell to 2-1 at home this season.

Yao has averaged 17.3 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds in Houston’s first
six games this season.

The Rockets are off until Saturday when they host the Los Angeles Lakers. In
the 2004 playoffs, the Lakers eliminated the Rockets in five games.
