Toronto Raptors Team Report – November 13

=== Toronto Raptors Team Report – November 13 ===

(Sports Network) – The surprising Toronto Raptors will try to push their
record to 5-2 tonight, when they continue their six-game road trip against the
Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.

Toronto has hit a few bumps in the road on its current road swing, losing two
of its first three. The Raptors suffered a disappointing 88-87 loss to the
Seattle SuperSonics at KeyArena on Friday night.

The Raptors were sunk by Antonio Daniels, who hit the game-winning shot for
Seattle with 7.2 seconds left. Chris Bosh led the Raptors with 19 points and
nine rebounds, while Rafer Alston added 15 points and 11 assists.

Vince Carter chipped in 15 points, Morris Peterson added 12 and Matt Bonner
tacked on 10.

In the fourth, a Carter three-pointer punctuated a 6-0 run that put Toronto up
73-71 with 7:57 left to play in the game. The game was a see-saw affair the
rest of the way.

The Raptors are 1-2 on the road this season.

The Raptors placed forward Donyell Marshall on the injured list Friday with a
strained right hamstring.

Toronto won the only meeting between these teams last season, 101-97, at Air
Canada Centre. However, the Blazers are 11-6 all-time against the Raptors.
