on Friday night, drubbing Golden State, 96-67, at FedExForum.

Pau Gasol scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Memphis in the win.
Jason Williams added 12 points and five assists for the Grizzlies, who won two
straight after starting the season with four consecutive losses.

Golden State only shot 28 percent from the field (25-91) and lost the battle

Before the game, Memphis forward James Posey was placed on the injured list
due to a sprained left foot on Friday. In a related move, the team activated
