Hornets place Rogers on IL
New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets placed veteran
forward Rodney Rogers on the injured list with a strained left knee prior to
Saturday’s game against Milwaukee.
Rogers sustained the injury in practice Wednesday and sat out Friday’s tilt
against Atlanta. He has averaged 4.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in nearly 20
minutes per game so far this season.
In a corresponding move, the team activated guard Junior Harrington, who was
on the injured list since the start of the season due to back spasms.
