(Sports Network) – The Raptors suffered a 105-102 loss to the Portland Trail
Blazers on Saturday night at the Rose Garden.

Rafer Alston netted 27 points and dished out seven helpers for the Raptors,
who have dropped three of their last four. Jalen Rose added 21 points and
seven boards while Chris Bosh had 17 points with eight rebounds in the losing

The Raptors trailed 83-65 heading into the final quarter, but they scored 35
of the next 50 points to go ahead, 100-98. Alston capped off the rally with a
three-pointer with 2:04 remaining.

However with 59.2 seconds left, Theo Ratliff drained a free throw to break a
100-100 tie as the Blazers ended the contest by scoring five of the final
seven points.

Lamond Murray made a three-pointer at the end for the Raptors, but after
further review by officials, the shot was after the horn.

The Raptors are now 1-3 on the road this season.

Toronto has the next two days off before continuing its six-game road trip in
Los Angeles against the Clippers.
