(Sports Network) – Two teams looking to string together back-to-back wins
for the first time this season battle tonight in Sacramento, as the Kings
begin a five-game homestand against the Denver Nuggets at Arco Arena.

Sacramento won its second in three games on Saturday, tallying a 113-111
victory over Phoenix at America West Arena. Chris Webber amassed 28 points and
10 rebounds and Peja Stojakovic added 23 points in the win for the Kings.

Webber has been outstanding for the Kings early in the season, registering
19.8 points, 10 rebounds and five assists per contest. Meanwhile, Stojakovic
is posting 17.2 points per game.

Mike Bibby contributed 20 points and seven assists for the Kings, who won for
the first time in five road tilts this season.

The Kings were on target in the contest, hitting 43-of-87 (.494) from the
field and 7-of-15 (.467) from three-point range. Sacramento also hit 20-of-22
(.909) from the foul line, while committing just eight turnovers.

Sacramento won its only other home tilt on Tuesday against Toronto.

These squads split four meetings last season, but the Kings have won 10 of the
last 12 meetings overall. Sacramento has won 15 straight home contests versus
Denver.
