(Sports Network) – The Hawks suffered a disappointing 103-88 loss to the San
Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

Antoine Walker led Atlanta with 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but the
Hawks lost for the fifth time in six tries this season. Al Harrington also
registered a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards.

The Spurs connected on 3-of-5 shots from beyond the arc in the opening quarter
and led, 24-18, after 12 minutes. San Antonio went to the break with a 44-35
advantage.

Its lead grew to 77-60 after three quarters and the Spurs cruised to the easy
victory.

Center Jelani McCoy, who signed with Atlanta on Monday, made his debut and
scored two points.

Jon Barry scored nine points for the Hawks, while brother Brent Barry led San
Antonio’s reserves with 13 points.

Atlanta has the next two days off before hosting Houston at Philips Arena on
Tuesday.
