(Sports Network) – The Knicks saw their two-game win streak come to an end
Saturday, as they fell 103-97 to Indiana at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Stephon Marbury scored a game-high 37 points to lead the Knicks, who have lost
three of five to open the 2004-05 campaign. Nazr Mohammed had 20 points and 15
boards in the loss.

Marbury led the Knicks back from a 21-point deficit and New York trailed just
101-95 in the final minute. Ron Artest, celebrating his 25th birthday, hit two
free throws with nine seconds to play in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

New York, which trailed 83-67 after three quarters, could not overcome the
deficit despite outscoring the Pacers, 30-20, in the final stanza.

New York’s Kurt Thomas had 12 points and 10 boards.

The Knicks have the next two days off before continuing their four-game road
trip in San Antonio on Tuesday.
