(Sports Network) – The Pistons suffered a disappointing 108-93 loss to the
Utah Jazz at the Delta Center on Saturday night.

Richard Hamilton scored a game-high 21 points and handed out six assists for
the Pistons, who lost their second in a row and have split their first six
games of the year. Antonio McDyess had 18 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

Detroit, which did not allow an opponent to reach the century mark until its
37th game en route to an NBA championship last season, has given up 117 and
108 points in back-to-back games.

The Pistons were still without two-time defensive player of the year Ben
Wallace, who missed his second game because of the death of his brother. He is
not expected to return until Wednesday’s game against Minnesota in Detroit.

Tayshaun Prince poured in 16 points and Hunter added 14 for Detroit, which
went 36- of-72 (50 percent) from the floor. The Pistons were 3-of-10 from
beyond the arc. Rasheed Wallace scored 10 points for Detroit.

Utah went 22-of-28 from the free throw line, while the Pistons were 18-of-19.

The Utah bench outscored the Detroit reserves, 45-14.

Detroit has the next three days off before hosting Minnesota on Wednesday
